ConSoil Final Announcement - For details of Conference registration and contamination on urban brownfield sites

Speakers:
A selection of the CABERNET coordination team (see above) and team leaders (e. g. Morgan, Petrikova, Neonato, van Ree, Maebe, Hall)

• Concept:
Not all brownfield sites are, or are even perceived to be, affected by contamination. Nevertheless, contamination is an issue at many derelict and underused sites and can hinder the return to beneficial use of such sites.
The EC funded concerted action on brownfield and economic regeneration network (In the enlarged Europe, EC funds have to be wisely invested and there is a need for new targets of managing the brownfield problem and metrics that can provide early indications of progress against these targets

• Outcomes
The discussions will be captured and if appropriate written up as a report for wider dissemination
